Yellow dyed jute rope, single yarn, 6mm x 8m (26.25ft)
£12.99 - £16.34
Jute rope
Why jute? It simply flies in your hands. It has little stretch, unlike cotton and most synthetics.
The softness of this loose laid rope ensures neat, unobtrusive knots and sharp, clean rope work. What's more, it is less likely to cause rope burn as natural fibre does not heat up so quickly when drawn across skin.
For optimal handling and feel, choose single yarn ropes but, for maximum durability, double yarns are a better choice. I suggest the latter for less experienced riggers or those who are not prepared to give the maintenance single yarn ropes need.
