This rope is designated specifically for floor-work. A minor defect makes it unsuitable for suspension, see here for further details.

Each of the three strands has 7 sub-plies/strands, each of 5 yarns twisted together. The reason for this construction is to create a super flexible, smooth, loose laid rope that is also durable and forgiving of rough handling, With this rope, you'll get the best of both worlds, long life and optimum feel and handling.

It's sweet smelling due to eco-friendly production methods and wet treating is entirely pointless as it is perfect right off the reel. Only dry treatment is suggested.

    Great deal

I bought 8 of these thinkingnof using them as general abuse/disposable ropes which I would just replace when dead without stressing about it. WRONG.
They seem to be bulletproof and don't feel like they'll be ready to give up the ghost anytime soon, so I gave 4 as presents and kept 4 which by the looks of things will be in my bag for the long run.
Aside from the price (obvs) the big selling point was that they're JBO-free, which is good as one of my partners has super sensitive skin - so it doesn't need wet treating (which is a PITA) and is ready to go off the reel. I found them a little on the stiff side so I ran a couple of them through a carabiner before I read Bruce's note not to bother, then oiled and burned as usual. That seemed to soften them quite a bit immediately, however after maybe a dozen uses and more conditioning by sweat, blood and tears it has settled around 5.5 - 5.8mm and I now can't even tell which I had 'binered and which not, so I could have saved a bunch of work by just breaking them in with (ab)use and they'd have ended up the same.
Once broken in they're quite light and flexible for a double ply rope, similar to the old tossa (I don't mean Bruce). I'm not talking Clara level - this is laid tighter so there's naturally more friction and "crunch" from the tighter twists - but for a third of the price of the Clara it's a bomb.

After consultation, recommendation and guidance. As a beginner, I decided to order this rope. Pretty fast delivery (considering the current global situation). Fantastic price! The rope is a bit stiff, flexible and a very nice color! And Bruce added a little extra to my understanding and experience. I recommend, and I will order my kit from him in the future :) Thank you
