Clara Premium has been over two years in development and testing. Without a doubt, this is the best rope we have ever had. It is destined to set a new standard being superior to any Japanese rope we have used so far.

The weight is 15.8g per meter. The diameter is between 5% and 10% over the nominal size to allow stretching and therefore not to be under specification.

Each of the three strands has 6 sub-plies/strands, each of 5 yarns twisted together. The reason for this construction is to create a super flexible, smooth, loose-laid rope that is also durable and forgiving of rough handling. With this rope, you'll get the best of both worlds, long life and optimum feel and handling.

It's sweet-smelling due to eco-friendly production methods and wet treating is entirely pointless as it is perfect right off the reel.

My most favourite rope of choice.

I've been using 5.5mm Clara Premium jute not for possibly around a year. I was impressed straight away but the quality but at first I questioned the durability of it in regards to how long it'd last with how soft it was....... I had no reason to be concerned. After a year or more it's still as perfect as the day I got it. Actually, it's got better and better with age. I now only use 5.5mm Clara Premium for everything other than my main lines during suspension (even though I've done an at a pinch full suspension with it and had zero concerns about its strength, although I don't recommend doing so unless you're doing adequate ties for such rope) and I've vowed to myself to only ever use 5.5mm Clara Premium as my main rope. Highly recommend.

    A good rope

Very light and soft. Indeed ready to use without any treatment. Slightly thinner than expected 5mm and not 5.5. Makes a difference. But otherwise good. I would recommend buying a sample length first, to check if suits your style. The ESINEM Rope team answers: Thank you for your opinion. We have corrected the diameter problem.
